UE – Varna welcomes international students for winter semester

About 40 young people from 11 European countries will be spending the next academic semester at the University of Economics – Varna as exchange students under the Erasmus+ programme.

Following Bulgarian tradition, the International Relations Office at UE – Varna welcomed the students with bread and honey at a traditional Bulgarian evening to introduce them to Bulgarian customs and culture.

The students heard traditional songs, danced Bulgarian horo, and tested their knowledge in a Bulgaria-themed team quiz.

They were most impressed by Bulgarian cuisine, which they had the chance to taste and hope to be able to enjoy again during their stay in Bulgaria.

Some of the incoming students will study at UE – Varna for the whole 2022/2023 academic year, and one student has applied for the University’s double-diploma programme with the University of Applied Sciences Worms, Germany.
